Comrade Philip Shaibu, the deputy governor of Edo State, has asked Governor Godwin Obaseki for pardon for any careless errors he may have made in carrying out his duties.
Shaibu, who made the plea in a Friday interview with a few members of the media (PUNCH not included), claimed that the plea was required to ensure that the current administration in the state had a successful conclusion.
After being installed as the Grand Patron of the Catholic Men Organization of Nigeria by the Catholic Archdioceses of Benin, the deputy governor made this statement in a speech.
The administration, according to Shaibu, has one year left in office and has been the envy of the entire nation since they view their relationship as impossibly difficult.
