Adebayo commented on the enigmatic final scene in which Ibrahim Chatta utters the name Ogundiji twice.
As he revealed the background to the Jagun Jagun narrative, Adebayo also urged a reawakening among Nigeria’s youth. He stated, “The involvement of youth in society is what prompted Jagun Jagun… Because the people in authority cannot commit any alleged crime without utilizing youth as a weapon of destruction…Stop letting yourself be used as weapons of destruction, young people. That provided the motivation for my message.
He continued by disclosing the second motivation for creating Jagun Jagun, expressing his wish to introduce the Yoruba culture to a wider audience.
He said:
“I thought of passing it in a very unique way and at the same time wanting to sell the beauty of the Yoruba culture to the world”, Adebayo explained.
