Prince Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the force’s public relations officer, has declared that he never accepts bribes or gifts of any type.
Adejobi made this statement on Monday in response to a request from a user of the social media platform X (Twitter) for him to “swear by his village deity” that he had never taken a bribe since joining the Police Force.
Adejobi replied that he has never taken a bribe since entering the police service in 2005.
The police spokesperson went on to say that it would be “ridiculous” for him to accept bribes because he is the anointed prince of Owu.
