Nigerians have been congratulated on the occasion of the country’s 63rd anniversary of independence by Senate President Senator Godswill Akpabio.
Despite the difficulties Nigeria has faced as a nation over the past 63 years, Akpabio said that every nation has its own route and particular difficulties to overcome.
He said he was confident to claim that Nigeria was now on the right route to rediscovery because the problems that are specific to Nigeria are gradually embracing the fabric of national cohesiveness.
“I make this pledge on the occasion of our nation’s Independence Anniversary that the National Assembly under my leadership will continue to provide legislations and other parliamentary initiatives to push forward the Nigeria of our dreams,” Senator Akpabio said, pledging the determination of the National Assembly under his leadership to provide the legislative framework to advance the country to greater heights.
