Kim Bot, the secretary of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria’s Plateau State chapter, was released from captivity on Thursday.
The pharmacist’s release was also confirmed by family sources, according to our Jos-based correspondent on Friday.
To God’s glory, pharmacist Kim Bot has been freed. He is currently receiving medical care in a Jos hospital. We are really grateful to God for preserving his life and to the security personnel for their efforts in securing his release.
The family member added that despite the thieves’ initial demand for an undisclosed sum of money in ransom, “he was unconditionally released.”
