Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, has stated his firm belief that Senator Ifeanyi Ubah’s departure from the ruling APC on Thursday will signal the beginning of a revolution that will free the South-East.
At the official introduction of the senator representing Anambra South by the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, at the party’s national headquarters in Abuja, Ganduje provided the guarantee.
A few hours after Ubah defected from the Young Progressive Party to the ruling All Progressives Congress, the meeting took place.
Speaking to reporters at the party secretariat, Ganduje called Ubah a “big fish” with significant political influence in Anambra politics.
When Ubah’s defection was formally announced in the Senate Chamber on Thursday, the news spread like wildfire.
