The tribunal’s ruling regarding the appeals of Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar has been upheld by the Supreme Court.
The highest court upheld the decision of the presidential petition tribunal and dismissed Atiku Abubakar’s appeal, ruling that additional panel members concurred with the lead ruling issued by John Okoro.
Additionally, they consented with Okoro to deny Atiku’s application in exchange for Tinubu’s CSU credentials.
Uwani Aji, Mohammed Garba, Ibrahim Saulawa, Adamu Jauro, Abubakar Tijjani, and Emmanuel Agim are the other justices on the court.
The court went on to state that the points brought up by Obi had already been addressed in Atiku’s appeal.
The court further ruled that the duplicate nomination issue should not have been brought up in court.
The lead judgment was concurred with by the remaining judges in the panel.
