But prior to the 2027 presidential election, the party declared itself prepared.
The statement said, “The State Working Committee has approved the indefinite suspension of Mr. Folorunso Makinde, the state youth leader, for engaging in activities likely to bring the party into disrepute, in accordance with Section 58(1)(b)(f) and (i) of the PDP Constitution as amended in 2017.”
As a result, it is recommended that he show up for additional questioning before the party’s State Disciplinary Committee within the following seven days.
“The party wants to be clear that it will not be discouraged by the APC’s cunning tactics, which may have found a willing ally in the PDP, to continue to take unfair advantage of the good people of Ondo State.”
