Tonto Dikeh, a Nollywood actress, activist, and philanthropist, wrote a heartfelt tribute to the late Mohbad, a gifted vocalist and single parent.
The 27-year-old musician passed away under strange circumstances more than a month ago, and the authorities are still investigating the reason of his death.
Tonto said in remembrance of him that many people’s hearts are still aching from his passing. The single mother disclosed that she had danced to his music the day before and shed a few tears—but not because of anguish, but rather because of his light, which would set everyone free.
She told him how much she loved him and assured him that he would be able to rest in peace in the days to come because she would see to it that he received justice.
“Our hearts still very sore…
I danced to your songs yesterday.
I cried a little bit not from pain this time around but for your Light that will liberate us all…
We love you our carpenter with Charisma.
Soon you’ll be resting well in Power/Peace..
ITS A PROMISE, we will get you JUSTICE”.
