The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in Bauchi State has detained Abdullahi Ibrahim, a 500-level veterinary medicine student at Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Kaduna State, on suspicion of killing a 17-year-old.
According to reports, the suspect persuaded the adolescent secondary student to meet with him for gay activities by luring him in with a picture of himself in the nude.
While presenting the suspect to the media on Sunday at the command’s headquarters, Ilelaboye Oyejide, the NSCDC Commandant for Bauchi State, stated that the incident took place in Misau town, within the Misau Local Government Area.
He added that the suspect admitted to the crime during the course of the inquiry.
