An angry mob descended on a man who was allegedly caught stealing panties and bras among other items in Anambra state.
According
to reports, the young man was apprehended this morning with the stolen
items in Azia. Ihiala local government area of Anambra state and was
beaten mercilessly by the residents which gathered to see for
themselves.
The suspect was later handed over to the police for further investigation.
This
is coming after 19-year old man, Chinonye Okorie was recently arrested
in Onitsha with ladies’ underwear, suspected to have been stolen for
purposes of rituals.
The suspect, who hails from Mbaitolu, Imo State, was arrested by police officers at Odoakpu area of Onitsha in Anambra State.
