Barca’s vice president Jordi Cardoner tests positive for the coronavirus, Mundo Deportivo have just announced.
Cardoner is Barcelona’s first vice-president. Last autumn, he confessed to Cadena SER that he wouldn’t stand for the presidential elections in 2021.
The 57-year-old is doing well, without any complications.
Last week, two more cases of coronavirus were registered at Barcelona. The club’s head of medical services, Ramon Canal, and handball team’s doctor, Josep Antoni Gutierrez both contracted the disease which was reported on March 26.
Moreover, Barcelona’s South-American scout Andre Cury tested positive for coronavirus as well.
No Barcelona’s player has been diagnosed with the coronavirus.
