According to Bild, Kane has already reached a contract agreement with the German champions and has received at least one offer from them.
Although it is unclear if Bayern would back out of any deal if the deadline were not fulfilled, it is a clue that they are growing impatient with the current state of affairs.
Tottenham has declined to respond.
Spurs’ all-time leading scorer, Kane, 30, is under contract for one more season.
No indication that Kane would be prepared to extend his contract has been made, so if Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy decides to keep the England striker, it would be the club’s final opportunity to sell their talisman.
Levy and Bayern representatives met earlier this week, but no deal was made.
Brentford will be the opponent for Tottenham’s Premier League debut on August 13. Bayern starts their season with a day earlier German Super Cup match against RB Leipzig.
Even if the transfer window doesn’t end until the first of September, it seems like everyone would want to have a solution before the new season starts.
