
Brazilian ace Willian has sent a message to Arsenal and
Tottenham Hotspurs despite contract extension talks with Chelsea to
remain at Stamford Bridge.
The 31-year-old could is set to leave the west London club at the end
of the campaign, having spent seven years at Stamford Bridge where
he made more than 300 appearances for Chelsea since joining the club in
2013 from Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala.
He has won two Premier League titles, the Europa League and FA Cup during his spell at Stamford Bridge
However, Premier League rivals Arsenal and Tottenham have both shown
strong interest been for Willian and the forward admits he would look to
remain in London if he eventually left Chelsea when he contract expire
at the end of the season,
He told ESPN: “My desire is to stay in the Premier League, but I don’t rule out playing in other leagues, no.
“I’m going to play until the end of the season and see what happens. I’m very used to England.’
Willian has made 37 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea throughout the campaign.
During that time, he’s scored seven goals and provided six assists for team-mates.
