Cameron descent Youssoufa Moukoko set to break Celestine Babayaro’s 26-year-old Champions League record ahead of Borussia Dortmund’s clash with Club Brugge at Signal Iduna Park on Tuesday night.

Moukoko turned 16 on Friday came on as a substitute in Borussia Dortmund’s 5-2 away win over Hertha Berlin as he becoming the youngest player to play in Bundesliga.

Moukoko could break Super Eagles legend Babayaro’s 26-years record when former Chelsea left-back was 16 years and 87 days old when he started for RSC Anderlecht against FC Steaua Bucureşti on 23 November 1994.

However, Moukoko will be 16 years and four days tomorrow and he could replace Babayaro as the youngest player to have appeared in the UEFA Champions League if he featured against Club Brugge on Tuesday night.Moukoko does not feature against Club Brugge, he has another chance to break Babayaro’s record if selected against either Lazio (December 2nd) or Zenit St. Petersburg (December 8th).
