Charlotte Dipanda is a Cameroonian singer-songwriter, guitarist, and percussionist. She was born on July 18, 1985, in Yaoundé, Cameroon. Dipanda’s music is known for its fusion of African rhythms with soul, jazz, and pop music, creating a unique sound that has made her one of the most successful and popular female artists in Cameroon and beyond.
Dipanda started her music career as a backup singer for popular Cameroonian artists like Manu Dibango, Rido Bayonne, and Axelle Red. She released her debut album, “Mispa,” in 2008, which received critical acclaim and established her as a solo artist. Since then, she has released several successful albums, including “Dube l’Am,” “Massa,” and “Un jour dans ma vie.”
