Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has admitted that there is pressure from Manchester United in the race to finish in the Champions spot.
The Red Devils don’t want to miss the Champions League next season and they are giving it all it entails to reach the Group stage of the competition.
Manchester United is fifth on the table and the Red Devils are knocking to finish in the top four.
Leicester City and Chelsea are third and fourth with Manchester United aiming to break into the third and fourth space on the League table.
And Lampard acknowledged his rivals, who they will also meet in the FA Cup semi-final.
Lampard told reporters: “They’re closest, they’re a very strong team, they’re in great form for a long period of time.
“They have got really good individual players. You have seen the momentum they have gained across their front three, all scoring, lots of goals.
“They’re the biggest threat from behind, but this is the Premier League. It looks that way today, but it’s how each team finishes the season.”
Chelsea will take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Tuesday evening in the Premier League.
