According to Udengs Eradiri, the Labour Party’s (LP) candidate for governor of Bayelsa State, he will demystify money politics in the poll scheduled for November 11 due to the increasing support he is receiving from the grassroots.
During his campaign tour, Eradiri spoke with LP supporters and stakeholders in the local government districts of Nembe and Ogbia, as well as Opu Nembe, Nembe City, and Otakeme community.
Overwhelmed by the enthusiastic audience that came out to greet him, Eradiri stated that his goal was to become a people-oriented leader who would mentor youth and reposition the state for greatness.
Eradiri expressed his sorrow for the predicament that Nembe was in, expressed empathy for them, and promised that, should he be elected, his government will prioritize local development before political turmoil of any kind.
He stated that he was competing to save Bayelsa and advance every community, adamant that the state was afflicted by incompetent leadership and ignorant governance.
In the Otakeme neighborhood, Eradiri bemoaned the closure of more than ten businesses owned by Bayelsa while promising to create jobs for the young people.
