Doctor Olufemi Olaleye, the Medical Director of the Optimal Cancer Care Foundation, was sentenced to life in prison on Tuesday by the Lagos State Sexual Offenses and Domestic Violence sitting in Ikeja for defiling his wife’s niece.
He was sentenced by Judge Rahman Oshodi after he found him guilty of defiling and penetrating a 15-year-old girl sexually.
The judge determined that all of the evidence presented to the court supported the victim’s account and that the prosecution had proven its case beyond a reasonable doubt.
Olaleye was charged with two counts that the Lagos State Government had brought against him, which included defilement and sexual assault by penetration of his wife’s niece.
Olaleye was charged with engaging in illicit sexual relations with his wife’s 15-year-old niece.
Additionally, he was charged with forcing his penis into the teenager’s mouth in order to sexually attack her.
