On Thursday, the Legal Practitioners Privileges Committee announced that 58 attorneys have been promoted to the position of Senior Advocates of Nigeria.
This was said in a statement released on Thursday by Ms. Hajo Bello, the Secretary of the LPPC and Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court.
Bello reported that at its 159th plenary meeting on Thursday, the LPPC had authorized the elevation of the 58.
Olukayode Ariwoola, the Chief Justice of Nigeria, who also serves as the organization’s chairman, was present.
Bello added that during the meeting, the committee dismissed four petitions that were written against some of the applicants after considering them.
The full list includes the following: “Funmi Falana, Felix Offia, Lawrence Falade, Kingsley Obamogie, Folashade Alli, Abiola Oyebanji, Bomo Agbebi, Daniel Uruakpa, Oseloka Osuigwe, Babatunde Adeoye, Babaseyi Joseph, Emmanuel Enoidem, Kehinde Aina, Ngozi Olehi, Aaron Okoroma, Ibrahim Angulu, Olayiwola Afolabi, Sule Shu’aibu, Abiodun Olaleru, Kazeem Sobaloju and Shehu Abdullahi.
Others are: “Fidelis Mbadugha, Onyemaechi Adikwu, Ikechukwu Onuoma, Yakubu Philemon, Johnny Agim, Aliyu Ibrahim, Isaiah Bozimo, Prisca Ozoilesike, Hahaha Santana, Adedayo Adedeji, Adeola Adedipe, Chikaosolu Ojukwu, Musa Attah, Ayotunde Ogunleye, Olayemi Badewole and Babatunde Adetunji, Alfred Atteh.
