Arsenal face losing Eddie Nketiah for nothing next summer after they failed to sell him during the summer window, reports the Sun.
The 22-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and has yet to agree a new deal, meaning he could open talks with foreign clubs over a free transfer move in January.
The Gunners had hoped to recoup around £20 million ($28m) for the forward over the summer and were ready to accept around £12m ($16.6m) by the end of the window, but a late move to Crystal Palace collapsed and there were no other takers.
