Iwobi came in with 20 minutes left in the game for Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Demarai Gray and Calvert-Lewin were the scorers for Everton who claimed their second win of the season.
The win took them to second on seven points after three games played.
At Carrow Road Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho featured for Leicester in their 2-1 win at Norwich City.
While Ndidi played for 90 minutes Iheanacho replaced Harvey Barnes on 67 minutes.
Jamie Vardy opened scoring in the 8th minute before Temu Pukki equalised on 44 minutes from the penalty spot.
But Marc Albrighton got the winner on 76 minutes to give Leicester the win.
The Foxes climb to eight position on six points on the log.
In other results, Brentford without Frank Onyeka held Aston Villa to a 1-1 draw away, Newcastle and Southampton played 2-2, West Ham and Palace settled to a 2-2 draw.
