These assistants were chosen from among the six local governments in the senatorial constituency to act as the lawmaker’s personal assistants.
According to the announcement, letters of appointment must be delivered to the appointed individuals by Wednesday.
Five statutory assistants who had previously been appointed by the contentious businessman are not included on the list.
Each member, excluding principal officials, is entitled to five assistants, including one senior legislative aide, two legislative aides, a personal assistant, and a secretary, as stated in the National Assembly Act.

He was charged by the agency of having absolutely no intention of making the payment. AMCON claimed that despite using many methods to collect the amount from Ibrahim over the years, it had been unsuccessful.
In order to seek justice, the Federal Government of Nigeria’s recovery agency, AMCON, filed a lawsuit with the Federal High Court (FHC) under the case number FHC/ABJ/CS/760/2021. As a result, the trial court issued an order directing AMCON to take over Jimoh Ibrahim’s enterprises.
