On Friday, October 27, it was reported that Iyanda had accused the Kwara State Police Command of failing to look into a fraud case that involved him in a proper manner.
He claimed that on August 29, in the Adatan neighborhood of Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State, he was taken into custody by a group of police officers. He claimed that after being taken to a police station in Ilorin, Kwara State, he was told that
there had been a fraudulent transaction on his Palmpay account.
Iyanda affirmed that her sisters were freed as a result of the Ogun State Police Command’s invitation.
