Please keep me anonymous When is one considered to be married in Gods eyes?? Not for the validation of men. I am asking because am living with my man and we are having some very serious financial challenge. We planned getting married this year but towards the end of last year, we did a business together that crumbled our finances together, He cannot afford to do either white or trad marriage right now because the funds are not available.

I cant deny that we would make love because we are inlove. So why am asking this question is, we are considering court wedding so we can stop engaging in premarital sex and make our relationship clean in the sight of God. But in my church, even if you are married in court and cant afford the other two, you are still not permitted to receive communions. This is why am confused. And why i am asking when is one actually seen to be married in Gods sight. Please no throwing of blames and Suggesting we should wait or i should stay on my own, their is so much more to this story that will be very long to share for one to truly understand the situation, i just want to know, if we do court wedding can we still come in front of God with clean hands and pray together?? When exactly are we seen as married in Gods sights
