The National Drug Law Enforcment Agency (NDLEA) recently seized 1.8 tonnes of cocaine, which is said to be worth a staggering N19 billion Naira in street value, and on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, the agency released videos and photos showing that it set ablaze the cocaine, which was seized at a warehouse in Ikorodu, Lagos.
In response to the news, heavyweight rapper, who is also a lawyer and rights activist, took to Twitter the same day to question the burning of the cocaine. According to the rapper, the whole burning activity is a scam, as the substance serves as evidence in court and should not be tampered with.
