So yesterday, the 15th Headies Award was held in Atlanta, and all categories of award winners were announced and they all bounced out in person or through a proxy to receive their prestigious hard-fought plaque.
The aftermath of every category has been calm so far so good till this moment except one that involves the already-disqualified Portable, the “Best Street Hop Of The Year” category.
The category winner was Goya Menor, the famous “You Want To Bam Ba” Originator who was nominated alongside Portable, Bella Shmurda, Rexxie, Mohbad, Naira Marley.
Guess other nominees were cool with the organizer’s choice except one.
As expected from Portable, he took to his Instagram Live to rant about the poor choice the Headies Organizer made about their winner.
DOES PORTABLE HAVE A POINT?
Well, personally I don’t know why I feel Portable has a point with his rant though. Like using all reasonable Yardsticks – does Goya Menor deserves the award for real?
Apart from his “You Want To Bam Ba” – Has Goya Menor made any known song again? – Portable asked his live viewers in a distasteful manner.
I believe as Portable was actually disqualified, the next available option wasn’t even Goya… I don’t know for you sha! That’s just my own 1 kobo.
