Lip readers are convinced they’ve spotted Ole Gunnar Solskjaer discussing Manchester United’s move for Jadon Sancho in training.
The Borussia Dortmund winger has been linked with a move to Old Trafford all summer and the clubs are currently locked in negotiations.
An agreement is yet to be reached but the 20-year-old is keen on a return to England.Advert
It looks like Solskjaer also thinks a deal could be imminent – with many thinking they’ve picked up on him saying ‘we’ve sorted it’ and ‘Tuesday’ to Nemanja Matic.
It hasn’t gone unnoticed online and fans were quick to comment.
It marks the second time in recent months that Solskjaer has been caught out discussing potential transfer targets.
Many think he told Nathan Ake ‘we need a left-footed centre back’ following United’s 5-2 victory over Bournemouth in July.
Ake would eventually go on to join bitter rivals Manchester City in a £41 million deal.Advert
Meanwhile, Sancho has reported for pre-season training with Dortmund with the transfer ‘deadline’ of August 10 having passed.
The 20-year-old had been pictured back in England over the weekend and it sparked rumours that a deal was close.
Dortmund’s communications chief Sascha Fligge was quick to shoot that down however.
“It’s common and fine for players to go home before a training camp if they’re not risky,” he explained.
“The same goes for Jadon [Sancho].
“From our point of view, the pictures that have been shown to us so far do not violate.”
United are currently out in Germany for the Europa League finals. They face FC Copenhagen in a quarter-final clash on Monday evening.
