Jordan Henderson and his Liverpool team-mates could be forced to stand apart to lift the Premier League trophy in new plans being considered by the Premier League.

It has been reported that officials are considering a socially-distanced trophy ceremony after watching Red Bull Salzburg’s bizarre celebrations after winning the Austrian Cup last month.
The Times report that Premier League chief executive Richard Masters is very keen for Liverpool to be given a trophy presentation after securing their first title in 30 years, but the top flight could adopt a similar approach to Austria.

The players were made to stand apart in individually-spaced circles, while the captain of the side lifted the trophy.
There were critics of the method, given the players had just played 90 minutes together in much closer surroundings, including at corners and in a wall while defending free-kicks.
The trophy was then passed around between the players, which doubters argued went against the safety precautions taken with the trophy lift itself.
If the Premier League use the method for Liverpool and the league title, the same may also be considered for the winners of this season’s FA Cup.
That match is expected to be played at an empty Wembley Stadium in August.
