Locko is a Cameroonian musician, singer, and songwriter. His real name is Charles Arthur Locko Samba, and he was born on May 8, 1992, in Yaoundé, Cameroon. He started his music career in 2012 and has since become one of the most popular and successful artists in Cameroon and Africa as a whole. Locko is known for his unique blend of R&B, Afrobeat, and Cameroonian makossa music. He has released several hit songs, including “Sawa Romance,” “Je serai là,” “Thank you Lord,” “Margo,” “Ndutu,” and “Booboo.” Locko has won several awards for his music, including Best Male Artist at the 2018 AFRIMMA Awards.
