Manchester United has identified cheaper option to the signing of Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho as the Old Trafford directors are keen on exploring other options.
Manchester United is now in line to sign Fiorentina star Federico Chiesa.
The 22-year-old winger has been in tremendous form this season for the Serie A team.
The Italian star is also keen on making a move to Old Trafford at the end of the season according to report in the Gazette dello Sport.
The report also went further to say that the Italian could be an alternative to the signing of Sancho.
Manchester United is craving for the signature of Sancho but Borussia Dortmund is demanding a huge transfer fee for the former Manchester City academy player, while Chiesa would cost €70 million, which is significantly less than what Dortmund want for Sancho.
Fiorentina president Rocco Commisso has made Chiesa available for transfer and he could secure a move to Old Trafford this summer.
