Manchester United is leading the race to sign Bayer Leverkusen attacking midfielder Kai Havertz, according to reports.
Manchester United is ahead of Real Madrid, Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Chelsea in the race to sign Germany international, Havertz has been one of the hottest prospects in Europe in the last few months due to his performance for his club Bayer Leverkusen.
The report in The Sun says Manchester United is leading the pack and will to start the bidding with a £50m offer this summer.
The Red Devils are already drafting out their plan B if they failed to sign Jadon Sancho as the Manchester United board are hoping to convince Borussia Dortmund to cash in on the England star.
