The late musician Ilerioluwa Oladimeji, also known as Mohbad, invited his parents, Abosede and Joseph Aloba, to attend the ongoing coroner’s investigation into his death.
Punch reported that the singer’s mother said he was always terrified of situations involving Naira Marley and his partner Sam Larry. She emphasized that he purposefully withheld information from her in an effort to shield her from them.
She added that Mohbad confided in her, telling her that Marley had attacked him at a performance he had to go to.
On September 12, 2023, Mohbad passed away at the age of 27, and the unexplained circumstances surrounding his abrupt demise provoked widespread indignation and demands for inquiries.
