Senator Abubakar Ohere, representing Kogi Central, has stated that he was greatly shocked by the Tribunal’s decision to declare his election invalid and has vowed to appeal the decision.
Sen. Ohere of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was declared the winner of the Kogi Central senatorial race on Wednesday, but that decision was overturned by the Kogi State race Petition Tribunal.
The Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) Natasha Akpoti-Uduagan was further ruled by the court to be the true victor of the February senate election.
