Neymar Was His Usual Ridiculous Self In Brazil 5-0 Thrashing

Neymar was at his brilliant best as Brazil thrashed Bolivia 5-0 in World Cup qualifying last night.

The Paris-Saint Germain star wasn’t on the scoresheet for the Selecao but his impact on the game was still there to see. He registered two assists and finished the game with an outrageous 18 dribbles completed.

And the clips of some of those take-ons in question show that there really aren’t many players more entertaining to watch than Neymar in full flow.

In the first half he made a defender look like a mug when he nonchalantly flicked the ball over his head, before finding the overlapping run from Renan Lodi courtesy of a lovely backheel pass.

Clearly feeling in the mood, the Santos youth product took more prisoners when he embarrassed two players in the middle of the pitch who pressed him intensely.

He managed to twist and turn his way out of trouble, driving towards goal and laying on a pass in behind.

The 28-year-old wasn’t done there though. Around ten minutes prior to crossing for Philippe Coutinho to notch the final goal of the game, Neymar very nearly scored a stunning solo goal himself.

A filthy nutmeg to ruin one opponent and a roulette that sent a defender and goalkeeper to the shops for a packet of sweets. It would have been some goal had the ball not hit his other foot just as it looked like he was going to pull the trigger.
