The Peoples’ Democratic Party chapter in Anambra State has requested that state governor Prof. Chukwuma Soludo refrain from disparaging anyone who disagree with his administration.
Uloka Chibuike, the party’s spokesman in Anambra, made this allegation in a news release he sent on Tuesday. He also said that the ongoing verbal abuse directed at critics and pundits implies that the state’s current administration is “adrift and marooned.”
According to Chibuike, the governor needs to keep in mind that he works for the people and holds a position of trust in the public domain rather than a private company.
He asserts that Okonkwo’s remarks reflect the worries of a citizen who is keen to see a better and more affluent Anambra State rather than, as claimed by Soludo’s advisers, a desperate campaign for the governorship.
