‘Pink Beret’ Rioter Who Was Handed In By Her Ex-Husband On January 6 Is Now Facing Accusations From The FBI.

'Pink Beret' rioter who was handed in by her ex-husband on January 6 is now facing accusations from the FBI.

Federal offenses have also been brought against the now-husband of a Jan. 6 defendant who was recognized by her ex after the FBI circulated pictures of her sporting a pink beret during the Capitol attack.

A felony count of obstructing, hindering, or interfering with officials during a civil disorder is being brought against Spencer Geller, the husband of “Pink Beret,” who the FBI has now determined to be Jennifer Inzunza Vargas Geller. He also faces misdemeanor charges. On January 6, 2021, the pair traveled to Washington, D.C. They parted ways at the Capitol. While her husband Geller remained outdoors and was present at some of the day’s most violent scenes, Vargas Geller ended up inside.

Online “Sedition Hunters” who have assisted in hundreds of Jan. 6 cases and have located hundreds of other Capitol rioters who have not been apprehended have long been interested in the “Pink Beret” case. Her pictures did not become widely known, however, until the FBI tweeted pictures of “Pink Beret” in April. At that point, one of her ex-boyfriends saw them while waiting in line at a Joann Fabric and Crafts store after his friend showed him the FBI tweet on his phone.

The ex confessed, “I stopped dead in my tracks. I thought, “That’s Jenny.”

Vargas Geller was charged with many offenses on May 8 after her ex reported her to the FBI. However, as she was abroad, she was not detained. A informant suspected the couple was traveling in Japan, according to the FBI affidavit in her husband’s case. Online sleuths have found a ton of pictures and videos of the couple, who appear to be residing in Asia with a kid.

Geller “was one of the first people to arrive at the West Plaza” on January 6, according to the FBI affidavit, and he can be seen on film “pushing bike racks” during the initial breach of the Capitol’s barricade.

According to the FBI affidavit, he ultimately made his way up to the entrance of the lower west tunnel, which was the scene of some of the most violent events.

The FBI originally released photos of “Pink Beret” after a defense attorney for another prisoner accused her of being a “femme fatale” government agent who enticed suspects into the Capitol on January 6.

There was no listed attorney for Geller who could be contacted for comment.
