Security personnel from the Kogi State Police Command, the Marine Department, and a group of local divers have started looking for a popularly known tricycle driver named Keke who leapt into the Meme River in Lokoja, the state’s capital, on Tuesday, September 12.
This information was provided in a telephone call with our correspondent on Wednesday by William Aya, the state police public relations officer.
Aya stated, “As soon as the command received the information, we despatched our guys from our marine department in conjunction with nearby divers in search of the man.
“However, efforts to find the man have so far failed to produce any fruitful results.
According to reports, the man exited his trike on the bridge across the river on what appeared to be a suicide mission for reasons only he knew.
