An investigation into the “secret” hiring of 300 employees by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has been launched by a House of Representatives Ad-hoc Committee.
In a hearing for an investigation held yesterday, August 14, JAMB Register, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede stated that they conducted the recruitment exercise after obtaining a waiver from the Federal Character Commission
(FCC) due to the urgency and exigencies at the time. Oloyede said, “I call your attention to the letter we wrote to the agency (FCC). That was the period we had about 12 to 18 months.
