Rivers driver's surrender over missing woman

Following the reported disappearance of a female he dropped off, Kelechi Uzor, an e-Hailing cab driver, willingly handed himself in to the Okporo Police Station in Rumuodara, Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State, to prove his innocence.

Elizabeth Edoukumor, the passenger Uzor had supposedly dropped off at Harmony Estate in Eliozu, Port Harcourt, was reported missing a few hours later.

However, the Bolt driver has denied knowing where she was after getting out of his car, saying that he didn’t know her beforehand.

In the meantime, a social media post purportedly made about the missing woman (Elizabeth) by her family claimed that she had called them at around 6:31 p.m. to say that she was leaving her aunt’s home in the mentioned estate and was headed home, but that her line had since become inaccessible and had since gone off.

According to the Bolt map that our correspondent provided, Elizabeth was dropped off inside Harmony Estate by the Bolt driver at about 6:16 p.m.
