A notorious armed robber popularly known as Chaso male,19years,was caught today at about 4.45am vandalizing a provision shop belonging to Mrs Fostina Ekperi and a phone shop belonging to Mr Ramson Silas at the Market Area behind the speed boat booking center in Anyama-Ijaw Community in Southern-Ijaw Local Govenment Area of Bayelsa state.According to the an eyewitness,Chaso has already succeeded in vandalizing the phone store before proceeding to perfect the act at Mrs Fostina’s shop before he was caught in the act.
The armed robber confessed to the crime that he came all the way from Igebiri Community to commit the crime but unfortunately luck ran out him.Reports say the armed robber was just released from the custody of the Bayelsa state police command four days ago in a related offence.
The matter has been referred to the intelligence unit of the community for a necessary action.
