Roma are considering a summer move for Alexis Sanchez as Manchester United look to offload the Chilean winger at the end of the season, according to Sky Sports.
Sanchez has endured a frustrating campaign on loan at Inter Milan in Serie A, but could return to Italy if Roma produce a concrete offer.
Sanchez has scored just one goal across 15 appearances for the Nerazzurri and it is unlikely that Antonio Conte’s side will push to make the loan permanent.
Roma were thought to have been tracking Sanchez last summer before instead sealing a temporary move to their Serie A rivals.
Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly keen on arranging a permanent departure for Sanchez in order to free up more of the wage build to reshape his squad.
Since signing from Arsenal in January 2018, Sanchez’s Old Trafford career has amounted to just 45 games and five goals.
