South-East faces resurgence of terrorism threat

The Senate Leader, Opeyemi Bamidele, has urged the Nigeria Labour Congress and Trade Union Congress to postpone their intention to go on an indefinite strike in the interest of the country as Nigeria celebrates her 63rd anniversary of independence on Sunday.

In response to the demands of organized labor, Bamidele said that the federal government and all of its relevant agencies are working covertly to develop workable solutions.

Bamidele congratulated Nigerians from all socioeconomic and political backgrounds on the 63rd anniversary of the country’s independence in a statement on Saturday.
