Umar Sadiq continued his impressive scoring form for Almeria netting a brace in their 3-3 home draw against Lugo on Saturday night, Completesports reports.
The forward, who was named Spanish Segunda Division Player of the Month for February on Friday opened scoring for his side on 13 minutes.
The 25-year-old scored his second of the game four minutes after the break.
Sadiq has now scored 15 goals in 26 league appearances for his club this season.
Last season, he scored 20 goals in 40 league appearances for Almeria.
Almeria remain in second position on the table behind leaders Elbar, who also have 59 points but have a game in hand.
Rubi’s side will face Tenerife in their next league game.
