
According to sources from the Eterno Hotel and Suites abode in Benin City where the Super Eagles are camped ahead of their Africa Cup of Nations qualifying series against Sierra Leone reveal that the team undertook the mandatory COVID-19 tests on Wednesday.
The three-time African Champions have all 23 players invited in camp and took part in the exercise alongside officials of the team and results are expected on Thursday.
Lugano new signing, Sebastien Osigwe recently recovered from Covid-19 and was also available for new round of testing. The former Kries SC goalkeeper has been in fantastic form for his Switzerland club and got invited by Gernot Rohr following his impressive start to the season.

Nigeria are currently top of the group with six points following wins over Benin and Lesotho. Victory in the two matches against the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone in Benin City and Freetown will see the team guarantee their spot in the tournament set to be hosted by Cameroon in 2021.
The Super Eagles will fly to Freetown on Monday for Tuesday’s clash with the Leone Stars at the Siaka Stevens Stadium.
