Super Eagles winger Samuel Kalu has returned to training with French Ligue 1 club Bordeaux after he turned in a Coronavirus negative test, reports ScoreNigeria.
Bordeaux announced Kalu trained Sunday morning with the rest of the squad.
He trained normally even though the session was behind closed doors.
Kalu, 22, has been in quarantine since the first week of July when it was discovered he had contacted Covid-19.
He is the second Super Eagles star to test positive for Coronavirus after KRC Genk striker Paul Onuachu was first reported to have contacted the disease.
Sunday was his first team training after five months during which time he was stranded in Nigeria no thanks to the travel restrictions caused by the Coronavirus Pandemic.
