The mammoth crowd that attended the grand opening of the new Rivers state APC secretariate was unprecendented as the people of the state came out enmass to show their solidarity and support to the distinguished senator Magnus Ngei Abe
Senator Abe who is a governorship aspirant in next years polls was visibly overwhelmed by the love and support he got from the people of the state.
Recall that the Odike- led APC factional secretariate was demolished last week by thugs purported to be sponsored by the Flag Amachree-led faction.
The secratariate was however renovated and officially opened on friday 17th august 2018 to much fan fare razz matazz.
Senator Abe who is having a frosty relationship with his ertswhile political ally and benefactor Rt. Hon Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi has vowed to contest in next years Guber polls with or without the support of the minister of transport.
senator who is representing Rivers South east senatorial district in the upper legislative chamber of the national assembly also stated that the next governor of the oil rich state must surely come from his senatorial district and the riverine area of the state.
