The main reason why Real Madrid has refused to sign Chelsea attacking midfielder Willian has been revealed.
Willian is due to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season on a free transfer after the Stamford Bridge hierarchy failed to meet his demands.

Chelsea want the former Shakhtar Donetsk star to extend his stay at the Stamford Bridge but the attacking midfielder wants three years and the Stamford Bridge directors are willing to offer a two-year-deal and the player may be forced to look elsewhere for next season.
Willian’s agent Kia Joorabchian confirmed the major issue in negotiations was the Brazilian’s desire to sign a three-year deal – something that also appears to have put Madrid off.
Real Madrid is looking at other areas to strengthen up, they are keen on signing a prolific attacker at the end of the season following the lacklustre performance by Luka Jovic.
