The Community Primary and Secondary Schools in Umuozoche, Igbodo, inside the Etche Local Government Area of Rivers State, are in dire need of support due to their unfavorable aftertaste.

The conditions of the two schools are appalling and unsuited for human habitation, let alone for instruction and learning.

Considering the foregoing, it is imperative that all governments—federal, state, or local—give the education sector its highest priority.

However, the two schools in Umuozoche Igbodo, a quiet town in Rivers State’s Etche Local Government Area, are in disrepair and leave much to be desired.

The two schools, Community Primary School and Community Secondary School, Umuozoche Igbodo, are completely unfit for educational purposes. The ceiling has collapsed, the classroom roofs have been blown off, and overgrown weeds have begun to creep into the classrooms, giving the area an unnatural green color.

Due to the primary school’s buildings’ extreme decay, the community claimed that it had to hire a nearby structure and relocate the students as a preventative measure to avoid a scenario in which the students—through no fault of their own—would live with some dangerous creatures in the name of education in the abandoned classrooms.
