Transfer:- Barcelona Sign Frenkie De Jong
Barcelona, on Wednesday completed the signing of midfielder, Frenkie De Jong from Dutch giants, Ajax.
De Jong signed a five-year-deal with Barcelona for €75 million (£65 million).
Barcelona took to their official Twitter page, @FCBarcelona, to announce that the 21-year-old will join the Catalan club at the end of the season.
“@FCBarcelona have signed @AFCAjax midfielder Frenkie de Jong, who will join the club on July 1 for an initial fee of 75m euros on a five-year deal,” Barcelona twitted.
De Jong has played only 65 matches for Ajax and scored five goals.
The Netherlands international has been impressive for Ajax so far this season.
